Sky clearly fund the EPL....without their backing it would be nowhere near as popular and cash-rich in comparison to the other European leagues.

It's no coincidence that almost EVERY transfer in the January window happens on the final day, particularly the final hour. It keeps Jim White in a job. It guarantee's millions of viewers. It means Sky maintain their control of English football.

Not really a conspiricsit (?) in general, but do they 'advise' all Clubs that deals should be completed on deadline day?

Maybe Bill could deliver deadline day in all its beauty to Theatre-land?

Could be right, but then it could just be like Christmas Eve. Loads of people buying stuff they don't want because everything else was sold out and it's last minute.

The clubs thrive on the PR as well like, but it's just the nature of deadlines. The closer it gets, the more desperate someone is, and as one domino goes down so do the rest of them.

Sky have somehow mistaken millions tuning in as people liking the horror show that is Jim White.

I like the transfer window drama to be honest but I don't like Jim White. He occasionally creates needless drama by lying.

Yes, but he has the very delightful Natalie Sawyer sat alongside him....imagine her mouthing the words "Breaking News from Finch Farm...Everton have signed Ronaldo"....

....when you say it keeps Ken White in a job, it only happens a couple of days per year. That's my type of job.

BT are the first broadcaster to have TOP PICKS over Sky.

We're in a better financial position because of BT than we've been before.

Had to laugh earlier on when the bloke on Sky wished Jamie Carragher a 'Happy Deadline Day'.

Possibility of it being a national holiday in the future perhaps (y)
