OK, six wins:

Home
Fulham
Charlton
Portsmouth

Away
Sheff Utd
West Ham

Leaving one win from:
Arsenal (H)
Villa (A)
Bolton (A)
United (H)
Chelsea (H)

Not as easy as it looks, especially if we draw any of our banker wins. Puts the Spurs loss in perspective...

I cant see us winning any aways and losing to United, Arsenal and Pompey.

Spurs draw with chlsea in the cup today mean thats another fixture to their schedule hopefully that will work in our favour. Lets hope their replay and uefa game go to extra time! I can see us getting a point against arsenal this weekend we are there bogey team and set up to frustrate them i can imagine there short on numbers with the suspensions and Henry is also out!

As predicted, teams are beginning to slip up. Reading and Pompey took points off of each other whilst Bolton lost. A win against the Gooners tommorrow would put us just 1 point behind Bolton in the race for 5th spot. It's important that we get something from the game though because Spurs look in great form and won again, whilst Blackburn are currently winning so they'd be level on points with us. All to play for.

Like you said Bruce Bolton lost and Reading and Portsmouth shared the points, exactly the way we wanted those two games to finish, Spurs won as expected and look dangerous though surely their fine run cant possibly continue to the end of the season, two or three bad results are bound to come their way.
Blackburn are another side making a late push for europe, and, along with us, makes it six sides altogether fighting it out to finish fifth and sixth, i say six as i cant see any other team making up the ground on the teams already mentioned.
The one important thing in our favour is our superior goal difference, it's going to be so close for those two remaining euro spots that it could easily be decided by GD.
By the way, if Chelsea and Man Utd contest the FA Cup Final then 7th position qualifies for the UEFA Cup and 8th would be Inter-toto.

To parrot phrase you again Bruce, It's all to play for, and we can do it.

West Ham managed to pull back for a win against Blackburn as well so with the exception of the Spurs result, which considering it was against Watford isn't too surprising, we've had a great set of results this weekend. A win tommorrow would really put us amongst it and give us a shot not just of 6th spot but 5th as we'd be just 1 point behind Bolton. If any motivation were needed for tommorrow's game, not just for the players but the fans too, then we've had it with todays results. Hopefully we'll tear into Arsenal as we did United when we finished 4th and set ourselves up for a cracking run-in.

Where to Monty, now do not be in a hurry to go to Heaven.:)

As for the title that was one game we were not counting as a win. So is it a bonus?

Anywhere a Champions League draw takes us, it is not impossible. At least from Heaven Robert you get in the matches for nothing, home and away, don't knock it just hope you qualify:lol:

If you look at the prediction sheets I was one of the few who believed we would win, I chuffed to bits and remain euphoric to this minute and for the next fortnight mate:lol:   (y)

we expected 3 at sheff utd, and hoped for a draw against 'le frarse FC'

villa away next week, then bolton i think, still comes down to the bolton game.

As if it hasnt been said before, but the next two games will define our chances of the UEFA spot. Villa away is never easy and the Bolton game has the potential to be a cracker. A six pointer, but at the right end of the table.

It wasnt so long ago that the only six pointers we were involved in were relegation ones. Well done, Mr Moyes and credit to Senor Kenwright. Theres a long way to go but we are at last showing some consistency and playing decent football aswell.

Here here chico, im glad the babies still in the bath after the spurs game. I think yesterdays result was a six pointer for us Spurs still have to play arsenal and they wont need any motivating for that one!

OK, six wins:

Home
Arsenal (H)= 3 pts
Fulham 4-1 win = 3pts
Charlton
United
Portsmouth
Chelsea

Away
Sheff Utd 1-1 draw= 1pt
Villa = draw 1 pt
Bolton
West Ham

Total= 8 points from 4 games and average of 2 points per game!

Ok based on this prediction form the first post we have picked up 2 wins and 2draws, does that mean we need one more draaw and three wins to be certs,.

I had a look at pomeys run in and after their result against United its not looking that bad. There could be a bit of distance in this race yet but all you can hope for at this stage of the season is for it to be in your own hands. having said are own is looking more problamtic, west ham and charlton will be tough games as they have theri tails up. bolton and Pomepy are looking increasing tight six pointer games, whiel the united and chelsea games are taking onextra importance in terms of the championship race.

Tough little run in all and all, would be nice to be playing the Newcastles round about this time of the season but as i say its in our own hands. six draws may bring us close! and a good win will do us wonders it could be close to 60 to qualify!

based on the above average we would get another 12 points, i know this isnt certain but hey were not loosing many!

With Portsmouth 4 points behind they should be out of it. Bolton have a really tough run-in, especially the next four games. Spurs have a much easier run-in but also have Europe to hopefully distract them enough. The next few games are key because our last three are against United, Pompey and Chelsea. They'll be very hard indeed.
