Ever since Moyes has taken over as the club manager, I have been crying out, for a pacy full-back on both side, I cannot hide my delight when Baines arrive from Wigan and without a doubt with Pienaar, Arteta & now Billy as well has strengthen our left side attack more, which leave our right side?
Hibbert has been a great servant to us and I am sure everyone is grateful for his service, but Hibbert very need to ask himself this question "How many games this season, when he play as a right-back, and he has given one of his better performance?"
No doubt he did alright for few games as a CB, but he is a RB not CB and there was only one game this season I could think of that I was delighted with his performance, which made me says "If, Hibbert could play like this on a regular basis, it would take someone real special to displace him!"
But sadly since then none of his performance came any where close to that performance. Neill is definately a solution to the right-back position for the time being, but as we are short on CB, Neill has to join Heitinga to fill up the void left by Yobo & Distin.
I feel it is time we should start using Coleman, I bet everyone was worried the Spurs game was only one-off, but again at the Bate's game I feel he coped pretty well defensively and had it been we got someone who could create and hold up ball and offer Coleman more opportunity to come up and support the attack, I think his attacking side for that game would have been just as impressive as the Spurs game.
Hence I think it's time we start him instead of Hibbert, is time Hibbert has competition beside Neill, I think it does Hibbert no good when he is almost gurantee to play most of our games without trying harder.
