Not trying to pick a fight but I think maybe you've convinced yourself of something despite the evidence to the contrary. He blew by Insua and delivered a dangerous cross to the back post against Liverpool for example.
neiler hates landon.

I'm just curious what everyone thinks are the odds of Donovan staying past the 10 weeks. There's been some discussion but I would say at this point its probably 50/50.
I can see good reasons why he could go and good reasons why he'd return to the Galaxy. I think no matter what he's proven he can play in the EPL and he will return long-term by next fall at the latest.
Here's why I think he still could return to the Galaxy. It's not clear what the transfer fee would be and if its in excess of $10 million then it could be too steep for Everton. Also, MLS would likely want to keep Donovan up until the World Cup and allow him a farewell tour in the first few months of the season.
This would also help keep interest in the league as I bet there would be a decent amount of Everton fans who would follow the Galaxy especially if they knew he was going to return for the 2010-11 season.
Overall, it would be best for Donovan to stay because he's getting to play against world class competition and it will only help him and the USA in the World Cup. What does everyone else think? What are your odds of him staying or returning to MLS?
