That's where Moyes will play him. He should be playing up top with Jelavic, but since we don't play a 4-4-2 like ever, there you go.

I'll say again, "it sounds like" doesn't equal "that's where he should be."

I want to win NOW. I never said LD was the only fish in the sea. There are plenty of others. We have a grand total of 0 rumors for other right midfielders.

Although i agree with what Zed is saying - perhaps we should be looking for someone who is more long-term.... I would NEVER take the extremely poor Seamus Coleman, ahead of Mr Donovan.

I doubt he'll cause any ill will by coming back here. As for him coming sooner, he did actually want to come in 2010. And was prevented from doing so. He had a contract, let's all remember that. Now that he has won an MLS Cup and is in his final year, he can engineer a move. And it looks for all intense and purposes he is doing exactly that. Frank Lampard MUST take a DP spot.

LCAB gave us details on this weeks ago. Now that the clues are falling into place why are people getting all weird about it?

Naismith started as a striker but has started to play further back over time as a deeper forward, mainly playing on the right for Rangers. I think that is where Moyes sees him predominantly but he is versatile so can play right, left, off the front or upfront.

This guy seems to think Naismith plays his best football on the right too.

Doesn't mean Landon won't come back though. Whole point of a squad is strength in depth.

No, I was stating there's no rumors for other wingers. Cause there haven't been any other than playing Naismith there. And there's some disagreement about his best position.

The point was I haven't seen anyone younger and better uncovered by this club. And if you think Seamus is better than LD out right don't know where you've been the last two years.

Hope Naismith turns out great. But depth is good.

Thanks for the info! That reminds me of how Clint Dempsey plays - they are not wingers, but cut in from the right. LD can be an out an out winger, which is different.

But your point is well taken, Naismith can play out there, which is great. Depth is a positive. Get LD on loan like LCAB says we are doing, and we'll see who works best and you have cover.

Or we can *gasp* play a 4-4-2 once in a blue moon. SHOCKING.
