Sir Landon Of Donovan

Being a yank, I know I'm biased, but in fairness, some of the Americans are stepping up and playing big parts for their respective teams in the last 12 months.

Howard, Dempsey, Freidel, Donovan, now even Stu Holden and Jonathan Spector are all showing well. We'll always be the baby brother across the pond (especially in football), but we are growing into our own with some real quality right now. I love that Everton are a part of that story and really hope that Donovan comes back to us to keep that story moving in the right direction.

I think you know that from the last time he was here. He (LANDON DONOVAN) is one of US.

Ergo. So are the Yanks, since most lap it up ... the history when they get into Everton.

Haven't been posting for ages, no surprise though to see this thread is still going, Landon was immense for us and I can only hope he can come back and spark our season up again, even if it's short-term, just get him in ffs
 
I just want to make sure that we have an LCAB translator on duty at all times, such that when LCAB announces that Landon is coming, those of us who don't speak LCAB may also be made aware.

Either that or someone just start a "Sir Landon of Donovan, Part Duex" thread. At that point, we will know.

LAST one before bed , but IF I'M HONEST - AN' I ALWAYS AM , I'd expect to have heard IF IT WEREN'T HAPPENING ..

Landon KNOWS what it means to be an Evertonian. IF he plays in the Premier League again, it WILL ONLY BE WITH EVERTON.
