Worrying, breaking news: NUFC appearantly after our Donny boy.

Although there will not be a lot of money to spend, there could be some cash to play with in January and it is interesting to note the Magpies have been offered the chance to sign LA Galaxy’s American international Landon Donovan on a six-month loan.

I can't think of any reason to why he should prefer the barcodes to us. Surely, it's not about the money. Maybe his love for Dan Goslings frail little body would make him want to go back for him. Oh well. Here's trusting in Landys and LA's judgement.

What does that even mean..."offered the chance..." ?

Who "offered" them the chance to get Landon on a 6-month loan? I can guarantee you that MLS/Galaxy didn't "offer" that. And I'm sure Landon and his agent didn't "offer" that either.

Oh, and by the way, I noticed yesterday Landon added Steven Pienaar's twitter to those whom he follows......wonder what that means (if anything).

If Landon does indeed come back and fill us all with Hope and Glory ( hey , see what I did there.."Landon,Hope and Glory" eh eh eh?) will he be the first to com back for a second helping of our world renowned charm and hospitality ? The only other player who springs to mind is Manuel Fernandes, but I'm sure his 'second coming' was more talk and bluster than an actual corporeal visitation - Or did I dream the whole saga up ?
