Having lived in florida a few years I watched the MLS and it's a shockingly poor standard of football and passion, after playing in such a high standard league and playing in such a good team and in front of us He will think twice about going back to the Galaxy, he even said he would consider joining us
"Shockingly poor?"
You need to get out more mate. Lets make sure we're compaing apples to apples here. If you're comparing MLS to England, Spain, Germany, etc...well then I guess the MLS "could" be shockingly poor in comparison to the top leagues in the world. But the top teams in MLS could easily run with your top teams in Holland, Belgium, etc.... That and I'm guessing as alluded to above, you were stuck watching the Mutiny or Fusion. The league has improved by leaps and bounds since those days.
agreed, I think we need to see Donovan perform on a consistent basis before deciding whether he's worth the fee the MLS would ask.
He's done the business and has shown that he's worth a bid. An educated guess would be 10MM USD which is around 6MM GBP.
That should be enough to get him here permanently. Whether Moyes and Kenwright would want him permanently is an entirely different matter.
