Sir Landon Of Donovan

interesting to see him not really bemoaning the fact we have no money.

i know and despite sayin no more transfers he has hinted at getin 1 or 2 more in, mayb frees or loans tho.

David Moyes has re-asserted that this summer won’t be one of major signings for Everton, but has said it is down to the board to make sure he doesn’t lose his best players.

The Blues’ boss has already made several small-fee signings this summer, but he insists that there won’t be floods more arriving.

“I don’t think it will be a busy one,” Moyes said of his summer.

“The biggest thing is we keep the players we have got at the club.

“It is for the board and chief executive to re-sign the players we have got and if they do I will be happy.

“Hopefully we will add one or two additions, then I’ll be looking forward to next season.”

Pretty sure Moyes is quoted in tomorrow's papers as saying that Donovan would be too expensive for us. Sounds like a no-goer.

Any ideas on the one or two additions LCAB mate?

Forgive me for clinging on to any hope of signing Donovan.

There have been a few articles written already on Moyes post-Norwich comments regarding Donovan.

NSNO would have you believe it's definitely a no-goer.

This article is a bit different however... I'm pointing specifically to the word 'might'...

Moyes said: 'The price which the MLS would want would be big and that might be a problem.'

This is a direct quote, it leads me to believe that maybe something is going on and the fee, naturally, is a stumbling block.

'Might' suggests they're trying to find ways around it?

You're clutching at straws. And I'm right there with you brother. Delusion beats despair.

Until the window shuts that is.

Your obviously new. The Daily Mail get their stories from some hag in Blackpool who usually poses with cardboard cut outs of Canon and Ball.

I'm not new, no.

And I realise that there are more reputable newspapers than the Daily Mail but this is a direct quote, unless Moyes has been misquoted. It's a very choice word though, 'might', just seems to suggest there maybe be something going on.
