Hard to beat a Bruchladdich
Got given a J Walker Gold Reserve, (costs 2X the black) its a bit smoother, but twice as good - nah.
Bland, unoffensive boardering on meh.
If I had to hazard a guess, all these different colours up the scale are just the same basic stuff they can't sell but leave for a few years. Rebrand it once, up the price times 2.

The golds you can basically skip. Go black/double black, then green, then the 18 and the blue if you have massive pockets.
The green isn't too shabby.
The blue is nice but screw paying that for it.
