Different type of player though. Barkley is more combative physically, contributes to breaking up play. De Bruyne is more nuanced, he links play up and creates. Also, he has a hell of a shot from distance.

They are different types of player but they do have a few similarities, like long distance shooting as you've mentioned. He's no slouch either.

De Bruyne plays either wing and CAM, but I think against lesser teams especially that trio would be amazing.
