I'm concerned that most of our players can't read Latin so they might not understand our NSONO motto.

Would changing NSONO into the English equivalent help?

There’s a simple test to see whether the motto is still fit for purpose. When someone who doesn’t support Everton asks you what the motto stands for and you then tell them, do they:

a) nod approvingly; or
b) piss themselves and laugh hysterically in your face.
