Shearer to Blackburn?

Nebbiolo

Valuation: £108 million
According to gossip, slimy, suck-ass, monosyllabic TV pundit Alan Shearer, is one of the 40 applicants for the vacant Blackburn job. I can't see why anyone would consider him but Blackburn are remaining tight lipped as to whether he is a possibility. He did well at Blackburn as a player, but everyone knows that he covets an important job at Newcastle. It could be sneaky Shearer's chance to do well at Blackburn before he can jump ship and take the manager's job at Newcastle, which presumably will be up for grabs sometime in the next 12 months or so.

Funny thing is I agree with you on the Keegan issue perhaps another year at best for him then the Barcodes will be starting to get fidgity again when business as usual returns. Probabley a great call for Shearer to get some experience then move on to black and white country.

Cant understand how this would suit Blackburn if hes [Poor language removed] their [Poor language removed] if hes good hed be at Newcastle come the end of the season.

If Blackburn want a top quality coach. They should look no futher than Paul Ince. He's done a great job at the two clubs he's been at. Got a feeling he'll be a top,top coach in the prem some day.

I haven't got a clue, Mike. These days you learn on the job like Southgate. I read this rumour on the BBC. Plus I heard a whisper from a couple of mates that this was on the cards.

He needs his badges, its law now. Southgate was pulled up, I think, last season for it and the FA and fifa are clamping down on it. To manage a club you need the badges. I think Shearer has them though.

Big Sam should get it. Shouldn't been booted out of the barcodes (who, rumour has it, might get rid of Keegan) and needed some time.

He's the only one apart from some top forgien coach who I can see keeping hold of Santa Cruz, Pendersen and Bentley etc because a lot of players respect him.

I don't like him particularly, but I agree with your implication that he was treated badly by the Geordies. It was a pitiful affair and reflected very badly on the club and supporters.

Ok Neb stop sugar coating what do you think of Shearer:lol::lol: I think he wouldn't take it its cushy on the TV and having the deluded Geordie's fawning all over him to feed his ego

You might be right there, Coyney. Essentially he gets paid many thousands of pounds a week for grinning inanely and agreeing with whatever Alan Hanson says.
