The Newcastle capitulation coming back to haunt us now. We would still only be 1 point behind 7th had we not dropped them 3 points.

We might have played well the last 2 games but the season has been a disgrace for the most part.

Here's hoping that we win most of our remaining games but i will be surprised if we even win half of them tbh.

I got slated for saying the Newcastle result would prove pivotal.

Obviously handing Watford and Wolves 4 points each hasn't helped us but that game should have been 3 points in the bag at 2 up.

But this is another problem, if we get in Europe we need the likes of Niasse, Mirallas and Jags ...etc because of the games.
Just like when we gave Hibbert an extension, but fans don't think about this because the want a piss up overseas.
Virginia
New right back
New left back
Mina
New centre half
Davies
Walcott
Lookman
Gana
Richarlison
New striker

A mixture of new signings, young player progression and a couple of current first teamers, could field a team good enough to compete at group level with a strong bench. As it is, I think Europe is beyond us anyway, especially in the light of tonights results. We'll certainly be better placed this time next year to compete if we miss out this year.

I can see us finishing 7th, Wolves will start thinking about an FA Cup final and their league form will suffer.
Yeah but I thought that about the semi final and there just pressing on doing the momentum thing.
Its not just Wolves, but Watford and Leicester as well, we would need all 3 to derail, it's not going to happen, 7th is gone.

Ok im back!

Giving Hibbert an extension had nothing to do with Europa.

We gave him an extension, or rather Martinez did because we got into the Europa league for the first time in 4 years.

Thats your opinion.

Still doesnt mean we would have to keep players we didnt need, cos I could argue we needed Hibbert, regardless of Europa. At the time we had no back up RB.
