deadline for keeping your seat today so looks like I could be losing mine, how can you lose you're seat before the early bird deadline? makes no sense to me.

I dont agree with this, what the club has done, (not your comment), its a joke, im sure they extended the early bird dead line a few weeks back because they realized that hardly any were shifting, but they left the seat deadline the same.

just sent them a snotty email threatening not to renew but feel let down by them, can't afford it until I get paid in 2 weeks and don't want any of the credit options they were offering

Be interesting to know what the uptake in season tickets is versus previous seasons. Feels like we're going to be down on this season's record numbers. I've renewed my tickets but I've managed to move to better seats in the Park End without too much fuss so can only assume a fair few weren't renewed?

For the folks who have the opportunity to get season tickets, you have no idea how envious us Toffees fans far away and abroad are at not being able to be at Goodison Park. So yeah, this season has sucked but look at the bigger picture - this is Everton, your club. Now if you think you are being ripped off, that's fine - don't renew. But all this lamenting about Everton this or that, come on now.

Everton had to take out about 40 front row seats in Lower Gwladys last season to improve Sky 3D coverage, much to the chagrin of some supporters. Sky announced, a while back, that they've given up on 3D football coverage because of its lack of appeal. Why then aren't these seats being returned for fans purchase from next season?

There are a lot of folk that have forked out a lot of their cash over the years mate, if they feel they've had enough and have constantly been let down then they have the right to not renew.
For some it's the affordability of it.

6 REFUNDS

  1. Refunds will only be granted in extenuating circumstances, to be decided by the Club.
  2. Requests for refunds of must be done so in writing to the Club.
  3. Refunds for Season Tickets will be calculated on a pro rata basis and will incur a £20 cancellation fee.
So if I cancel I'll have to pay £60..... and that's if they'll allow me to.

Just got some serious grief about renewing.

She's got a point about not being able to afford it like, a VERY valid point.

Might have to try and cancel it tbh.

Decent family enclosure seats aren't easy to get.

If you're thinking about just going to the odd game instead, it might be worth thinking about keeping the season tickets and selling a few games on Stubhub ?

I know mate, proper cant afford it though & apparently I was told when 1 of the kids took the seat sticker home... tbh I dont remember any such 'conversation' but then I wouldn't would I.
It's a completely valid point regarding not being able to afford it whatsoever but I'm gutted cos its the only thing I actually do, never go the pub at all, never go out anywhere apart from kids stuff (footy) and the match. They're proper gutted as well.
'kin £60 notes though, £20 each to cancel.

Give 'em a ring first, see if they'll refund you.
Chances are, they know those seats will sell easily so they will.

Then it depends on whether you can hang fire and see how the job hunting goes.
Being skint is a bitch.

100 percent agree, free to do what you want with your hard earned cash. The worst part is for a team to take its fans for granted.

I did say that if you felt like you were being ripped off or let down by the team, then you shouldn't renew. But there is a lot of griping and bitching on here versus actual legitimate disappointment/end of the road.
