‘Hilarious if he gets the Spurs job’

What an absolutely strange thing to commit to

This is his second job now since he left Everton and you’re still this warped by him. I’d love it if we beat Spurs as it could well mean Europe yet you’re celebrating an ex Everton manager being relegated with another club like you’ve won the World Cup.

Has fell into the same trap Allardyce did which is be too happy to play up to his marmite image. Doing him no favours and I'd be surprised to see him manage at top level again now, even though his record undeniably proves he's capable.

A bit of humility goes a long way in an industry rife with fragile egos. Shame this penny has never dropped.
I think he will get at least one more go at the prem because there will be clubs desperate enough to overlook his attitude- as dire as things were towards the end with us and Notts both teams would've scraped survival with him in charge. And there really isn't many managers down at the bottom with his track record of keeping teams afloat (not necessarily a compliment given he can't progress with them).

If not Spurs this year it will be Leeds next year, or Sunderland/West Ham etc.

The second he gets relegated (again) he's toast though.

Just seen a talkSPORT clip on YouTube of him on there this morning .

Putting aside I think he did pretty well for much of his time here , certainly not all , he absolutely adores himself . I know it’s a game where arrogance is fed but honestly I’m not sure I’ve seen anyone quite so pleased with themselves as him . It’s actually made a little bit more annoying by the clearly faux modesty that accompanies it .

Had a watch myself to see if we got brought up. Was a difficult watch for most part. Constantly referring to himself as "a dinosaur" and mentioning "the algorithm" a lot.

There are absolutely loads, Gary O’Neil being one.

Don’t know why this is deemed a given.

If true neither club would have fired him.
I think he was fired by both because he was unlikeable as much as anything else. I think it was similar at Burnley. Reading between the lines the people at the top were sick of him there too and wanted him gone.

He absolutely would've kept us up last season imo, but it's obvious he wasn't getting anywhere near the best out of the team and had no ideas about how to do that.

Exactly. I really disliked Fat Scam, but for 6-8 games he tightened the defence and sorted us out - as much as I disliked him, I could appreciate that. But then he didn't seem to even try to progress the team in anyway and was an odious asshat whilst doing it.

Dyche also did what he needed to do for us to get out of the points deduction and avoid relegation which was brilliant, thank you for that - but then he resorted to the same odious blame flinging pretence that we keep on seeing from him.

Now I'm warmed up with those two, gonna go vent about the fsw and Moonhead. Oh and Mike Walker can get in the bin too.

And relax...

The Spurs job, if he is able to get it, would be the best one of his career.

His agent would insist on a huge bonus for keeping them up, and they'd also insist on a two-year contract, so even if he was fired in the summer he'd still have it fully paid up.

Probably £200,000 a week for two years guaranteed, so £20m, plus probably £10m if they stayed up. Regardless of if he stayed two months or two years.

Ah I love the make up random numbers game, it’s my favourite.

You think a Spurs manager would be given a £200k p/w contract??????????????????
