Can he take a setpiece from the corner? I guess I should of clarified I think we have defenders who can score off a setpiece we dont have anyone capable of delivering a consistent setpiece

This is so true. If you are not able to create anything from open play you need players that can deliver good set pieces. Ancelotti had James, Digne and Sigurdsson. Benítez got rid of a couple of them and they were never replaced. Hopefully Garner will recover from his injury quickly and will establish himself.

I agree gana has been horrid I don't know if that's because Frank tried to turn him into a holding mid or hes just past it

I think we'll see Godfrey at full back under Dyche. He'll want to play our strongest players and he also played one fullback more defensively at Burnley while the other was given a bit more freedom to go forward. I think that would work with Patterson at RB and defensive solidity and physicality of Godfrey at LB. I think we'll probably see a midfield two of Onana and Doucoure/ Garner also as I feel like he won't play Gueye as much as people think. Wouldn't rule out Maupay getting a look in as one of the two up top.

We should probably be looking at Holgate RB and Godfrey LB. I don't like to think what that looks like going forwards, but it is definitely a more solid defence
