To be honest I'm more gutted for him for being a proper Everton player rather than our right back. The lad is Everton through and through after all these years so absolutely gutted for him and hope he has a good recovery no matter how long it takes.

Didn't watch the game but watched the Everton show earlier in the night and Seamus making some kids dreams come true and behaving like the kind of club ambassador we're all rightly proud of. Then this. Football can be a cruel game. The reaction to it just shows what kind of lad he is. Wish him the speediest of recoveries.

We all thought we wouldn't see oviedo back tbf, I feel just as gutted as I did back then, but bloody hell, we haven't half had some lengthy injuries over the last few years.
