…..I thought he was our best full back last night.
Apart from one incident when he made an error that could have resulted in a goal he was ok. Made his challenges (one at the back post late in the first half to deny a tap in), linked up with his CBs and those ahead of him working the ball up the pitch.

That doesn't register with many now though. They have a shiny new toy they've built up laughably into a legend after 7 games where he's had mixed fortunes.

They're to be pitied.

….but this isn’t about Patterson. The knives have been out for Coleman long before Patterson came.

I share your view that Coleman is still relatively sound, he’s been around the block enough to manage most attackers. He is now an adequate back-up for Patterson, I have absolutely no doubt the Scotsman will come straight back in when fit.

I suspect lots of posters don’t think Coleman provides adequate back-up, I happen to disagree. The major issues in our side are in other areas.
