2022/23 Seamus Coleman

Well that’s three more good seasons that many players we’ve had through the doors recently.
Yes but his last good season was about five years ago, possibly longer. It's not his fault he's still playing as nobody would turn their noses up at more millions, and you won't catch me calling him bad names, but it's a sad reflection on the club when Seamus Coleman is playing games for us and it's nearing 2023.

…Lampard isn’t alone in not only selecting him but praising him for the last 5 years. We have transitioned a new RB & Coleman is providing cover.

There are far more significant issues in this team than our back-up RB.

I'm so sick and tired of watching him receive the ball to immediately play it backwards. Day after day for years now.

Nothing to do with my love for Seamus, these two things can coexist

I just think we are So lacking going forward without Patterson. Mykolenko is very poor going forward, we desperately need to drop him until Patterson is fit,. Unfortunately for Seamus, this means we need a mobile full back on the other side with the pace and mobility to cover for Vinagre or McNeill. I think our only option at the moment is Holgate at right back, it's far from ideal, but, it's probably the best we can do with what is available.
