He wasn't terrible!
I've had a few here so excuse me if this is completely wrong but today's performance against Arsenal has just confirmed it for me:
Seamus Coleman is sh*te. Why do people seem to like him and think he's 'the future' or whatever? Maybe one day he's going to be an decent right back one day, but at the moment he just runs into blind alleys and loses the ball. He's like a f**king headless chicken. Plus his crossing and his shots are abysmal. I'd rather have Barkley and possibly even Gueye there instead.
Yes, he puts great effort in, is physical and always has a go without fear, but that just isn't good enough for me. Of course we'd have better players there in future if we had money. But I think we've got better at the moment.
Views lids?
Edit: I've got to say like, he is great for the money we payed. I just don't get why people are saying he's going to be a great first team regular in years to come.
He wasn't terrible!
Exactly - he showed promise and needed persevering with (like Barkley last season). Osman and Neville were just blocking the team up.
how far is the u s a from goody park,Nah mate, it's those who think Coleman DEFENDS better than Hibbert who are wrong. By a country mile. No other way to say it. If they want to be willfully ignorant, then I can't help that.
They both make mistakes but when I want my club to "keep the ball out of the back of our net" then Hibbert is who I want in back, not Coleman.
creaks open the vaults*
Simple question though: just how boss is Seamus Coleman?
Boss lad.
But at the time he was gash, and vaulting loses its effect when it's done every week.
Got a feeling I'll have dropped some clangers in here. I've never been caught out before though, I will add FFS.
