Perhaps I did. But many, and quite rightly so, young people have an aversion to being told 'things will get worse for you, but don't worry we had to endure it and we survived' when talking about Brexit.Not sure you read my post properly. Nowhere did I say that I want other people to endure it as well. As Harryflashman says, I want the best for my children and grandchildren and everyone else's. My post acknowledged that today's youth have 'different problems' but the solution is the same - hard work.
It's nonsensical. If someone approached you in the street and said 'i want to make your life more difficult, limit benefits available to you and make you pay more for existing goods, but don't worry you just have to have faith it will get better, oh and work extra hard to compensate for it' you wouldn't think 'yep that seems a good deal'
