As I said, if there was anything riding on that game for Denmark they'd have put a lot more effort into it...and played all their better players.Denmark undoubtedly have superior players, on paper should have won but didn’t and really you can’t second guess a result that didn’t happen with a “ would have” .
In the context that Scotland beat a team ranked above them and who have superior players it remains a great result for them.
Dave as a football fan living in Scotland your last paragraph usually makes no difference .As I said, if there was anything riding on that game for Denmark they'd have put a lot more effort into it...and played all their better players.
Scotland had an objective: win and secure 2nd place and a home tie in the play off. Denmark had the square root of f.a. to play for. Their players would have been looking to avoid injury and saving energy for their club games this weekend.
How much did you get back?On Scotland?

Look at this feller with the gallus. Hilarious. How much did you get back?
TBF it was a dead rubber for the Danes. They rested the likes of Hojbjerg, Damsgaard and Delaney.
The Scots were the only team with something to play for - a home play off.
Denmark were on 100k per man to complete the group with the 100% record which would've been the only time it has been done. They very, very much wanted to win.
Scotland had Dykes, Mctominey, Patterson and Hendry out. All starters. The same number of starters the Danes had out.
It was a great performance and result.

So Hearts have released their annual accounts. Obviously, we suffered a huge loss in revenue what with COVID and our enforced and unjust demotion from the top tier…
…still made a £2M profit ?
Indeed. He’s a top bloke. ?James Anderson certainly seems a handy guy to have at your back?

The club also has nearly 9,000 fans making monthly ‘pledges’ which pulls in another £1.5M a year.
