100% right, and the sooner hibs are back too the better, i'm a rangers fans but i've always liked hibs
Good man.

In the early sixties my dad used to take me all over Scotland and England to watch different games. The atmosphere at Ibrox was the best. That was when they had Baxter and Brand etc

Jeezuz, atmosphere was great at the Ragers in the 60's...WHAT? 2017 now and their horrible sense of importance is worse than ever...RA PEEPUL!

Morton 2 v 2 Falkirk.

Decent game with both teams having a go from the start. We started well and took the lead only to lose that to a wonder strike. Both teams had a goal chalked off before half time, though not sure why. Falkirk took the lead from a penalty, that was soft, but definitely contact and an excellent Ross Forbes strike gave us a share of the points. We were on top for the last 20 mins or so, had a load of corners, 2 close free kicks, but wasn't meant to be. Would've taken a point before the game as the teams are very evenly matched. Dundee Utd away next Sat, can't wait. :p

Important enough to put you's out of the scottish cup, but i have to say the morton fans were great last week
Ha ha, WOW, that really sums up the exact attitude I was going on about. Struggled to beat a team with an average crowd of about 1,700 and a budget that would barely cover Kenny Miller's wage alone...well done. Thanks for the compliment about our fans last week, thought we made ourselves heard.

You's were the loudest at ibrox for 3 or 4 seasons, great support

Rangers problem isn't who they get as manager, the problem is that their fan base keep demanding that King "puts his hand in his pockets" and spends money

Money isn't there to spend. It just isn't

They need to realise that and actually accept that this rebuilding job is going to take time, and as a result they may have to put up with Celtic getting that illusive 10 in a row

I honestly think that if they start now, they can maybe be up to challenging in 3-5 years. That gives them an outside chance of stopping the 10, which is more than what they have right now. Right now it looks like they might never catch Celtic, so far behind are they.

They need to promote youth, use the loan system wisely and slowly start building a strong side over a period of years. No "big name" signings, no big money spent. They need to be conservative in the extreme when it comes to spending and put most of their money into the youth system. Their fans have to accept that and give the club time, otherwise the whole endeavour is pointless. King hasn't helped with his ludicrous "30 Million" promises either, which has only stoked the flames of the Gers unrealistic expectations

Rangers do not have a divine right to be challenging. They were financially imprudent and justifiably punished for it. They are lucky their titles weren't stripped. There needs to be a complete rethink from club and fans as to where they now stand in the Scottish footballing hierarchy. For a newly promoted side, 3rd and a cup run is adequate

King needs to man up and just be honest with the fans, and if that means a couple of seasons with 20-30 thousand people in Ibrox whilst the ship gets steadied then fair enough

When King first came in, he set a target of 2020 for Rangers winning the title. If he'd not wasted the past two years that might actually have been achievable

As long as the fans continue to put undue pressure on the board, the board will in-turn but undue pressure on managers and the cycle will repeat itself over and over. What Rangers need are a serious dose of honesty and humility, otherwise Scottish Football's future will belong to Celtic

Match going rangers fans I know are realistic and know Rome wasn't built in a day
Think the media are more to blame with their expectations and getting mixed up with the old co and new co

I fear for every reasonable and realistic Ger there are two who aren't, and it's likely down to the media lapdogs as you say

King must also carry his share of blame, as he has yet to truly be honest with the fan base, probably for justifiable fear of what they will do to him in retaliation should he tell them how it really is

Nevertheless, some home truths have to be told and told quickly, otherwise I foresee nothing but anguish in the future of the Blue half of Glasgow

Steven Campbell, from Tollcross
, Glasgow, added: "Rangers need to ignore all this talk about a director of football and just put all our eggs in one basket and appoint a manager with a football philosophy like Eddie Howe.

"Would he come? I can't see why not. The best he's going to achieve at Bournemouth is a mid-table finish, but he might be attracted by a club with a big name like Rangers.

If not him then Alex McLeish would do the job - he has the experience and the philosophy, you just need to look at the job he did last time here."

Yeah, why wouldn't Eddie Howe give up a stable job in the Premier League to join a club with no money in the Old Firm fishbowl?

Jimmy Yuill, Bridgeton, Glasgow , said: "The Gers are just going backwards, and backwards, and backwards. How can the chairman control the club when he is in South Africa? The board hasn't got a clue.

"All the managers over the years – sacked, sacked, sacked. Who's going to take the job when there's a chance they could be sacked at any moment. I say sack the board because they are damaging our club beyond repair."

Oh dear, bad news for King, the fans are starting to turn
