NEIL DONCASTER last night claimed Celtic and Rangers have brought the ‘show business’ back to Scottish football - and insisted he’ll make the cash rich broadcasters pay for it.

Errruugggghhhhh

What a smarmy little twerp

Yay for The Old Firm, charging in on their white horses to bring the "showbiz" back to the Scottish Game

Maybe if you'd actually got off your arse and tried to market the game with any sense of gusto you wouldn't have to wait for Rangers to come back to get a few extra notes for the TV rights, you self-satisfied, over indulged, thoroughly incompetant, utter [Lot's of Poor Language Removed]

Scottish football is in such a bad state that scouts down here go far abroad these days not even bothering with their leagues. It beggars belief how they are trying to sell a product arranged in such a way that teams play each other four times a season, competition is extremely limited and they have almost stopped producing talent themselves.

Back in the day Scottish players brought solidity to sides, McKay, Cerrand, Gabriel, their skilled play makers were second to none, Young, White, St John and many others.................what went wrong. Their leagues should be reduced to two with twenty sides in each, they could use the Highland league as a Conference only then will sides get the opportunity to experience bigger grounds and bigger crowds. Rangers are a prime example of this as it took them years to get back to the top simply because their talent couldn't cope with the nitty gritty football played by smaller teams.

If Doncaster actually believes in what he is saying then he should be locked up, no one wants to pay big bucks for a league whose champions get beat by a tiddly team from Gibraltar. The state of Scottish football is a scandal no wonder curling is an ever growing sport north of the boarder.
