There's a historical animosity between Hibs and Celtic. The former were the pioneer Irish club in Scotland - they'd won the Scottish Cup even before Celtic were formed. Celtic - backed by brewers - poached a lot of Hibs best players and the Edinburgh outfit fell away quickly while Celtic went on to dominate with Rangers.
Most hibs fans dislike celtic, celtic try to play the irish catholic card with them and the big majority of hibees have no interest in it

I was really hoping gerrard would do well and he could replace Klopp and ruin everything he's built. He won't be getting it anytime soon sadly, the guy never had a football brain, just determination.

Only just noticed that Csaba Laszlo was sacked from the Arabs this weekend, they've certainly been through a few managers over the years since Jim McLean.

Literally never recovered from losing Gauld, GMS, Armstrong and Ciftci so close to each other

Three of those went to Celtic as well. Rangers would have surely "helped out" with the predatory demolition job had they had the funds to do so as well

This is how the status quo remains in place

True but those guys were pygmies compared to the types in Jim McLean's team. United have never really replaced him.
