Because they get to play in their home city and, let's face it, Hampden is a second home for them.

Ok, credit to them for getting there so often over the years, I suppose, but it would be good for the big games to switch to the capital for a change.
I understand that but its the same as london clubs playing at wembley, and tbh hampden is a dump, i would much prefer murrayfield

Morton 1 v 5 Ayr Utd

Genuinely don't know whether to describe this game as a defensive shambles or an attacking masterclass? With almost 75 mins gone there was nothing between the teams, score at 1-1, Morton had missed a penalty and were probably shading possession and chances. Then 2 goals in 2 mins destroyed any hope we had of taking something from the league's top team and another 2 late goals just showed up our defensive frailties. To be fair to Ayr, 5 shots on target and 5 goals is striking of the highest order, so well done them. :(

Aberdeen lose in Glasgow again
Dundee get off the mark
Hearts /Hibs doing well
Dundee United smashed by Ross County
Ayr United flying
And a rangers or Livingston win will send celtic to 5th.
It's not all doom and gloom

Much of a rivalry between your lot and Hearts mate?

I knew a Celtic fan years ago who hated Hibs more than Hearts, could never work it out.
There's a historical animosity between Hibs and Celtic. The former were the pioneer Irish club in Scotland - they'd won the Scottish Cup even before Celtic were formed. Celtic - backed by brewers - poached a lot of Hibs best players and the Edinburgh outfit fell away quickly while Celtic went on to dominate with Rangers.

Surprisingly no excuse from Slippy G today simply admitting they simply weren't good enough against Livingston.
Living played well but Rangers had their chances but poor finishing let them down.
I hope the authorities catch the scrote who coined the assistant referee, it tarnishes the reputation of the Rangers fans and Scottish football as a whole.
Meanwhile the storm clouds seem to be gathering at Celtic, we could be in for an very interesting season.
