Kenny miller sacked by Livingston after two games , apparently for not being willing to step down as a player .

Apparently miller was still in a probationary period until the end of the month so they’ve acted before having to pay him big compo.

Falkirk reserves 0 v 3 Morton reserves.

Popped along to my closest stadium to have a wee look at a few first team players coming back from injury and see what players might make the step-up. Decent run out, some good performances and great to see Denny Johnston get a couple of goals on his comeback, hopefully he'll be back in the squad for the top of the table clash with Ross County on Saturday.

Go Morton!

/not remotely arsed about Scottish football but Morton were my dad's team

Delighted to hear that mate, what's his connection? Mine was that I was born in Greenock and have been going to Cappielow since 1966, been taking my son since he was 11 months, he's 24 now and 6'2". Mon e 'Ton.
He was from Greenock. I don't know if he ever went the match, but in one of his letters to my mum he wrote something about a friend of his being a fan of a rival team and how he couldn't understand because 'in all other respects, he resembles a human being'. Actually, he was the one who got me into football cos I used to watch Italian football with him - we both liked AC Milan - and I think the first match I saw on TV was Arsenal versus someone.

I'm screwed if I ever go to Glasgow and I get asked who I support. I dislike both teams. Although Rangers gave us Ferguson and Naismith, I guess.

Nice one mate, Mon e Ton. ;)

Morton 2 v 1 Ross Co.
Fantastic display and result against the team who were top of the league and bookies favs to win the title. Thought it wasn't going to be our day when RossCo took the lead on the hour mark against the run of play (with a goal that looked suspiciously offside), but 2 mins later a thunderbolt from my MOM Tidser brought us back level. We continued to pressure RossCo and when McHugh blasted into the roof of the net from close range it was all over.
Trip to Partick next week and a wee swally in the West End and City centre

Now that we have two RS up in Scotland, the papers are doing their best to pretend that it’s a decent league and are filling the column inches with Brenda and StevieG La......it’s still crap.......
