The animosity between rangers and the sheep stems from ian durrant getting wrecked by neil simpson
No it doesn't.
Stems from when aberdeen became a force in the 80s and never welcomed the rangers fans to the granite city .
Remember the rangers hoards came to aberdeen and tried to dismantle the city and showed little or no respect to the people football fans or non football fans.
I went to that game and can assure you there was more aggression on that pitch than on the terracing or outside Pittodrie.

I was there too, and it started then and the aberdeen fans are still singing about it

A rangers fan doesn't know that ditty?
Come on.
You said aberdeen fans sing about durrant and I replied by saying rangers fans still sing that song.
Without being pedantic, or laughing at durrants misfortune, at least the aberdeen song has something to do football.
I'm asking whats it got to do with aberdeen and rangers, it doesnt annoy or offend me what aberdeen fans sing or any fans tbh, in fact i have no dislike of aberdeen supporters either

You'll have to ask the rangers fans mate.
No surrender
No pope in Rome
Rule britania
God save the Queen
All sung at Pittodrie when rangers visit .
I was suggesting that not all chants make sense at football matches.
As an add on i work with rangers match going fans and you get a good laugh with them tbh ( I mean banter but I hate that word)

You'll be lucky to get a ticket for the away end.
Should be a cracker to be honest.
The aberdeen fans who's second team is liverpool won't know whether to boo or cheer slippy G

creases me the love rangers and their fans have for the queen and that, i only found out there was a pic of her in the home changing room recently. imagine Slippy G saying "dont do it for me, dont do it for the fans, do it for queen elizabeth and her offspring of leeches"
