I don't care, but as its so important North of the Boarder, these questions must be asked.
I think it was about religion and more about shared Irish roots. Everton used to have loads of Irish players and were the traditional sister club for Celtic, but that changed over time. The fact Stein, Busby and Shankly were close no doubt has something to do with it as well.

So here in lays the problem for me..it's not about the football in Scotland

It's about whose religion comes out on top.

That absolutely rubbish for me that.

Among many, but it’s too much of a sweeping statement to say that’s the thing for everyone. Most never set foot in a church! It’s more tribalism, I guess. But there are many fair-minded Rangers and Celtic fans as well.
 
Love the way some people cant handle Hearts getting pumped in that game and they try to distract from it by going down the tragical history tour to ease their pain.

As said: any Everton supporter giving them the time of day should pick up a history book on Hearts and educate yourselves as to what sort of horrendous midden of an organisation they are.

Your dads and grandads all knew the score. Dont embarrass them by not knowing it.
