Absolutely shocking and disgraceful scenes today in what should’ve been a showcase game for Scottish football (thanks to the incredible efforts of Hearts this season).
To have a pitch invasion during the match and our players physically attacked by hoards of Celtic scum has brought disgrace to Scottish football.
Thankfully the cowardly Celtic fans scarpered when the Hearts bench ran on the defend our under-attack captain. But effectively, the match was abandoned with time still left in the clock.
Such was the lack of security at Parkhead, our entire staff and players were forced to leave the stadium before the players could even get showered.
The entire incident has completely overshadowed the match and who knows what the authorities will do now. Certainly recent events in Czechia in the Prague derby saw the attacked team be subsequently awarded a 3-0 victory.
What an appalling end to the season.
