They checked it because the linesman wrongly flagged him as offside, such is the standard up there. If we scored that goal and it got ruled out the cries of PL corruption would be deafening lol. He's not offside in any rulebook

They're celebrating when they desperately need competition. Hearts winning today might have been the best thing for Celtic ever becoming competitive in any European competition again. This just means the usual embarrassment in July/August.

It seems to me like it can be convincingly argued to have been in the same phase of play. It’s all one attacking move.

No doubt there will be technical reasons it is a “second phase” but it goes against common sense.
