How would rangers fan react if Gerrard went back to Ibrox?
Don't think it would be too popular, especially without Beale. As far as I can tell there is still some goodwill towards him and his backroom staff, considering how they raised the standards across the club when we were truly, truly awful. But, there's still resentment about the manner of his leaving and the team wasn't exactly playing well when he left for AV. Having a failed AV manager return after a year doesn't seem like ambition to me.
Just saw a news headline stating that Beale is heading to Wolves. Disappointing, but interesting to see how he gets on in the PL.

If Beale's out the running now, I wouldn't entirely be against giving Alex Neil a bash. I know he's been sacked from Norwich and Preston but he's generally done well at clubs with relatively tight budgets. Apart from them, I'm not too sure who I'd pick. I'd ideally want a young, aggressive, enthusiastic and attacking-minded manager. But, then again, I suppose fans of a lot of clubs would say exactly the same.

I know this isn't about scottish football as such, but I was just reading the Stoke City forum about Alex Neil. Even though they lost last night, their fans seem pretty happy with tge attacking play and intensity from the team. As has been mentioned, this is what Rangers have lacked this season so far overall. The Stoke fans reckon it was their finishing that let them down. They had most of the possession, plenty of attacking play and more shots than Rotherham.

No takers for Duncan Disorderly?

Spent many a night there mate.

Great little ground, but also coldest place in the world.

I’ll say you’ll miss it, did I see Kingswells was scrapped and something being sorted down the beachfront….
Possibly colder,judging by plans.
Wasn't to bad last night in the old paddock/red shed you can stand the whole game ,and the atmosphere has improved 100%.
But a cold walk across the golf course to your car sorts you out.
