Scoring goals is very overrated.

I fully believe if Dyche or Big Sam or even Moyes came in they'd put Sandro up with DCL.

Which I don't think would be a bad idea as we need that sort of link-up between strikers. It was something that worked really well with Lukaku, even if it was Kone that came on. Him and Valencia worked really well together for the times it happened.

I can't remember the last time we played 2 strikers properly.

I'd throw lots of money at Arsenal for Walcott and Giroud. Suspect we may have missed that boat mind.

We definitely have, Giroud would never ever come here at this point, especially with the World Cup looming.

Our bar has been lowered for centre forwards we can get now, instead of looking at replacing Lukaku we are now simply looking at strikers that can score around 10 goals for us from January onwards playing in a limited system where service will consist mostly of long balls and crosses. I'd throw big money at Palace for Benteke.

Do you have any idea on how dated and vulnerable is the flat 4-4-2?

..the problem is creating, not scoring. If we create chances regularly we’ll score enough goals to win us football matches. At the weekend I thought Leicester would get at least 2 and that we’d struggle to respond. Results are almost inevitable.

I'm not sure Unsy's strategy of not playing any strikers at all for 60 minutes is the way to go when we need goals. In fact, I do wonder if the management and board all get drunk the night before games and then make the team selections around 1am. It is the only logical explanation surely. :drunk::D

Chicken and the egg (pun intended) mate, are we not scoring enough cos we haven't got players creating enough or are we not creating enough because we haven't got players being in position for anyone to create for them? or worse case - it's both...
