It doesn't mean anything, they're just virtue signaling so they won't get picked on by some socialist veggie in sandals. Then they go home, have a bag of Macca's and talk about emigrating to America to get away from those sandal wearing lettuce eaters. We have the same number of veggies, but they cluster in those tiny blue areas you see on the US map where the red areas send all the food and stuff that is actually something, rather than just being bits, bytes, rock music, or a video of some girl crawling out of her knickers.
