Maybe we should be building our team around him and treating him as Lukaku's replacement? His goals in La Liga can be considered as hard to score as those in the Premiership, the company he kept in top scoring charts last season and stats at 21 surely make him a steal and if we had paid £50 million for him maybe we would have seen him as a Lukaku replacement?

Chelsea paid £50 million + for Morata (3 years older) scored 1 more goal than Sandro last season (all be it in less minutes but playing for a far better side than Malaga)
Neymar scored 1 less goal (10 more assists) - £198 million, now Sandro is not Neymar but he is not 35 times worse!
Griezmann only scored 2 more goals and played in 6 more games, how much would he cost?
Benzema scored 3 less goals

He is the youngest scorer in the top 20 scorers in Spain last year and we paid buttons for him. Steve Walsh earned his money on this deal alone. He played fro Barcelone when he was 19 and 20 and scored goals (7 in 32 appearances)- the first team not the B team!

We must give him a run and allow him time to settle, given this he could be worth the same money as Lukaku in 3 seasons.

He needs to be given a decent run you are right.
 
Needs a goal tonight

Fed up of hearing excuses now. He’s not even that young. Experience in la liga with 16 goals last year so clearly capable. Needs to step up and tonight is his chance
 
Apparently been poor tonight with Charlie Nicholas on sky saying he won't score goals in premiership.

Thank god he only cost £5m but we're not exactly a fluent attacking team though are we

Did Charlie Nicholas explain why he thought that or was it just a knee jerk comment based on watching him for 65 minutes?

Knee jerk - said something along the lines that DCL looked more of a goal threat after DCL had scored two goals :dodgy:

Personally think he will turn out to be a good signing once he just plays his natural game and possibly stops trying too hard
