At this moment in time, Everton currently have Wayne Rooney earning £150k a week, Sandro Ramirez earning £120k a week and Davy Klaassen picking up £100k a week. Just behind the both of them sit Jordan Pickford and Michael Keane earning £90k a week.

Im not somebody that blindly believes the media, but I had heard he was on mega money prior to the media saying the same.

Fair enough - some players just never settle at a club / country. Just worrying that all the other recent buys from outside the Prem have either not settled or appeared much (klassen, Tosun) or took a long time to make the first team (Niasse).

I get the point, but the same logic says Alcaraz was a good signing.

No, I dont mean if we planned to make him the starter. We never should have failed to replace Lukaku, Sandro was never a replacement for him. And no, its not the same as Alcaraz because we couldnt sell Alcaraz, and he was old, not potential youth. When you can sign a young up-and-coming player for a cut-rate price, where even if he fails you can make a profit on him?

Thats just good business. A wise man once said "you can never go bankrupt taking a profit".
