Echo: Everton striker Sandro Ramirez offered Malaga return

Malaga are ready to rescue Sandro Ramirez from his Everton hell.

The Spanish striker has struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League since joining in the summer.

Sandro has scored just once following his £5.2m move from Malaga and is now struggling to get into the Blues’ matchday squad.

Malaga coach Michel Gonzalez has been quoted as saying they want to re-sign the 22-year-old and that Sandro is keen on a return to his former club.

“I’m hopeful,” Gonzalez is reported to have said.

“Players play where they want, and I think Sandro wants to come and play for Malaga again.

“From there, everything is subjective and depends on certain situations and negotiations.”

Sandro has made just 13 appearances in league and cup this season with his solitary goal coming in the Europa League thrashing to Atalanta.

Blammo.

Would still prefer he was stayed for a bit longer, given time to adapt and attempt to prove himself rather than simply offloading him in January.

If he does go, then we're going to be a striker shorter come the end of the window as we've struggled to sign a striker let alone bloody two.

To me he looked like a player who played off a stricken and not an out and out centre forward. I would have liked to see him given a bit more time but that doesn't look as if it is going to happen. Whether he goes or not we need a focus for our forward line.

send him on loan to anyone in spain except Malaga, then cash in when he plays well. malaga behaved like complete cryarses during the traansfer and should be left out of any transfer /loans for this lad.

Rumours that he refused to travel to Cyprus for our dead rubber, we arent a striker down cos he hasnt even played.

The way Unsworth and now Sam are totally swerving suggests hes got a bad attitude to me. Clearly doesnt like the English weather.

In five years time (maybe less ) people will have forgotten that he ever played for us.

If he doesn't want to stay then sell him because I have no time for anyone who gives up on a move to a bigger club after 4 months no matter how much potential they have. I only want players who want to prove themselves rather than little boys who want to run home because the weather's not to their liking.
