In the old days they would all be called inside forwards.
To make it simpler for you..are they defensive midfielders = no. Can they tackle = no Can they play centre-forward =no Can they play on the wing = no
They are attacking midfielders and/or they play off a centre-forward.
As would Eric DierHe's a kid who cost 5 mill and played 1 season in a different league. Making any opinion on him in the clunking idiot team that Koeman/Walsh made is crazy.
Mustafi and Duffy would walk into our defence. We need to develop players from other leagues not destroy them
Or maybe you buy a striker to suit the other 10 players on the pitch , which Koeman wanted to do but the board /Walsh didn’tYou’ll see him being g boss for a top Spanish side in the Europa in the future. That’s just the way it is for some players.
What annoys me in general is that Everton seem to have an obsession with having a ‘presence’ upfront in the middle and therefore anyone who is quick and tricky is consigned to the wide forward position whilst lumbering target men can get fame after game upfront. Why not adapt our play to the type of forward we have? Instead we seem to play through balls to slow strikers good in the air and when we have anyone quick we just lump crosses and long balls into them. Surely the tactics of the team have to be dictated by the type of striker you have?
And Dier into our midfield. Definitely worth keeping for a while longer. He's a kid who cost 5 mill and played 1 season in a different league. Making any opinion on him in the clunking idiot team that Koeman/Walsh made is crazy.

The Echo have named the senior players who flew out and he wasn't one which means we'll have no strikers unless there's someone from a youth team.He has had no where near enough of a fair run. Big mistake if we let him go. Young, strong, agile, great shot and Pacy.
What proof is that he didn’t travel?
Yeah agreed.I will be sad if he leaves without ever having had a decent go.
He looks to me like a lad who could be good when he finds his feet here.
But maybe he is homesick or sommat![]()
Where have you heard this mate? Not seen it anywhere else.Rumour is Sandro's not travelling because of a training ground bust up

So its possible he could have seen he wasnnt going to Cyprus and made some assumptions?Posted on TEF by someone who's had the team sheets early in the past.
Maybe. The club have told the Echo that Sandro had been due to start up front but hasn't travelled due to injury. Hmmm...So its possible he could have seen he wasnnt going to Cyprus and made some assumptions?
