Scored zero goals in 17 appearances last year whilst out on loan, that tells me he aint good enough I'm afraid. Good Luck Sandro, but its the right decision.

Apart from your final word I would agree. He had something about him that is hard to find.

I suppose he is still ours, sounds like the lad has a bit about him, looks like he wanted to go out and play games, you have to respect that and the effort he put in preseason. I agree he has that little bit of something i think he will end up a very good corner forward.

Do people not understand that we also pay players' wages? He is earning a ridiculous amount per week, which is why we can't properly sell him.

We will never recoup those losses.

Pretty sure it’s never been confirmed anywhere what he’s on p/week. Regardless we’ll still get £10m+

He cost £5m so I’m really not arsed he’ll flop. We’ll definitely get more than £5m when he’s sold.

...I wouldn’t be so sure. His wages are the stumbling block, reported to be at least £80k per week. No club wanting him will be prepared to pay that much and he won’t take a big pay cut with so long left on his contract. I imagine the club would let him go on a free if there was a taker.

I’m a little bit iffy on believing the press and wages. He’s still a far cheaper bad purchase than say Klaassen was.

'That kind of rain so characteristic of the Basque Country that doesn’t seem to get you wet, but soaks you to the bone instead: xirimiri. '

San Sebastian - La Perla - has three beaches, but faces the cold Atlantic.

John Toshack was twice manager at Real Sociedad, while Howard Kendall managed nearby Athletic Bilbao, who play in Sunderland colours.
