We shall see if Silva decides to keep him. Just turned 23 and was great up until he came here under Koeman and Allardyce. Give him some time under a proper manager and technical staff.

Think because of his age, and the fact he had moved from Spain to England last year so may just have struggled to settle, Silva wanted to give him another chance and see what he's capable of....would imagine he knows now Sandro isn't really an option for us.... Wouldn't be surprised to see him head off on loan again

Silva clearly likes him and has played him in every pre season game, giving him lots of minutes.
He's just not good. Nothing to do with confidence as the manager has clearly put his arm around him.
