Eto'o can play wide right and in the "hole", too, but I definitely think the vast majority of his minutes will come without Lukaku on the pitch.

Eto'o played wide right for Cameroon when they finally got another striker (and Eto'o got older). He was always getting down the wings at Barca too. Good option if we need it.

I'd rather have him in the middle though, in the six-yard box or just behind/in front of Rom when they're on together.

I think we might finally score some goals off corners too, cos he's a good poacher as well.

Just watched another interview of his (ironically from the same day as the Sky interview post-Man Utd) and he is actually capable of speaking decent english. Weird.. why did he seem to struggle so much in the Sky interview then?

My German's passable (get's better when I'm drunk and all), but after 90 minutes running and on the high of a hatrick, I'd struggle to string a few words together. It's difficult to just switch on and off like that under pressure unless you're super fluent, and he seems a lot more comfortable with French.

Mirallas gives his post match interviews to EvertonTV in French, doesn't he? Imagine he speaks more than passable English day to day though.

As no one has said this as of yet, I'll be that guy:

I'm interested to see if we ever play this front 4 (while Barkley is out):

Lukaku Naismith Mirallas
Eto'o
Absolutely reeks of goals. Pure FM thinking and I have no idea if it'd work, but the thought of it is cool.

EDIT: Reeks ffs. Rookie error.

Absolutely wreaks of goals. Pure FM thinking and I have no idea if it'd work, but the thought of it is cool.

Been thinking of this aswell, would love to see it tried. The CB's won't know who to cover ^^.

Can look at it two ways:

1. He's 33, past his best and a player that plays for himself and wouldn't care if we lost.

2. He's experienced, done it all and knows where the goal is. His presence will be good for the youngsters and I could think of worse people to come of the bench.

I can't see him being on more than 60k max and if he knows he's second string to Rom, I can't see an issue. He is free after all so nothing to lose...

I'm undecided but I trust Bobby and he certainly brings more depth.
which one are you leaning towards bluegirl? 1 or 2?
