Is that Catt Bellamy from Muse ?

He's 33 and plays/looks even older, and I was laughing when Liverpool seemed in for him and that view isn't going away just because he's signing for us.

Very unconvinced - seems a desperate signing in the way of Ginola/Gascoigne in that he's a player who looked by and large terrible at Chelsea and is living on past glories. The odds on a sudden renaissance and appetite for the game are slim.

But let's see what happens...

He's back up for Lukaku and could he have a better striker to learn from in Eto? Great player, Won everything and has vast experience from all over Europe

I think its a shrewd signing, Will give everyone a lift at the club and is a good option off the bench

Well Bobby certainly is not backward in coming forward with the transfers. When I first saw ppl discuss I thought too much like Gascoigne and Ginola for me but the proof of the pudding will be in the goal scoring. All football at all levels is about goals. We are certainly putting our money where our mouth is and trying to buy them. Well done Roberto and co, praying like mad this works.
