Oh I understand this POV (he outperformed Ba and Torres but given how Mourinho used his strikers that wasn't hard to do!) but my immediate question is how much is he on with us and where other options considered, as I can't imagine he'll be anything but one of the top three highest paid at the club and is the role he's coming in for enough to justify that salary position for two years? I guess we'll see, but I personally can't get excited by it, as I remember this exact sort of signing with Ginola and Gascoigne in the dark days.
