And the much anticipated backlash from the usual suspects has begun.
Etoo is and will be a quality player for Everton.
Say what? I'm delighted.

Why am I a usual suspect? I've supported every single signing Bobby has made. And Moyes, for that matter.

Go tar someone else with the negative brush, I was celebrating the news with a cheery joke.

It is a very rare occasion that I am a negative nelly, but I honestly do not think signing Eto'o is a good move.

I will give the lad my full support if he signs, but he failed to impress for Chelsea and I fear he will fail to impress for us.

That said, him and Lukaku will be ridiculously 'up' for playing against Mourinho on Saturday, both of them with major points to prove.

I would unleash them both and just go for it.

Nine goals last year even though he didn't always play, that would be enough to be our second or third top scorer. He was ridiculous in his day, just his presence will be enough to give this squad a kick up the backside and convince them that they don't always have to bottle every single big game and that they can win stuff. Will be massive for our ongoing mentality change. We'll give him the love he's been searching for since Barca and he'll repay us.

Wtf has happened to my club- Bill out!! This is fantasy football stuff, I like it better when we have no money and sign [Poor language removed]

Eto'o will get us goals. He has european experience as well and will help the squad do their job in coping with the extra games

end of the day... kone or eto'o?

havin said that, i would prefer welbeck over him as he has versatility and is younger and is one for the future with more pace
