Don't think he has anything left to prove, except perhaps that he can still be effective at this level...He's won everything there is to win apart from the WC and has gotten the respect he's craved...He'll work hard but it's been a few years now that he's simply chasing the big paycheck...At Anzi pulling in €20 million a season and even as a squad player for Chelsea he was making €8 million, looking to get as much as he can I'm sure

Eto'o on Mourinho: "Today, I am 33 years old. And it is not because a fool called me an old man that you must believe it. And you may have noticed that the old man was better than the youngsters."

Sounds like he's got a point to prove to me

My love throws me like a rubber ball
Eto'o oh oh, the sweetest thing
He won't catch me or break my fall
Eto'o oh oh, the sweetest thing
Baby's got blue skies up ahead

He's made it known that he has a point to prove in the Premier League. Let's hope he's true to his word.

I was going to compare him to signing Saha but Eto'o does not suffer the injuries that Saha was always prone to.

I'm really not sure which way it will work out - could be boss or just as likely meh. He is not adept at holding the ball up so that rules him out being a lone striker really. No doubting his quality though, will be ace to bring on Samu(el) Eto'o as a sub wearing the royal blue of Everton.

We've made it like.

Something something something that rhymes Eto'o with "the animals went in two by two"

He signed for us on a free, Eto'o Eto'o.
He's 33 but he's boss you know, Eto'o Eto'o.
He's been around and he's won it all, now he plays in the royal Blue.
Samuel Eto'o Everton's number...
(Whatever number he gets)
