It's 1-1 in the Derby, Lukaku is out on his feet after putting a shift in, Naismith has run himself into the ground and bagged the equalizer. Martinez looks to the bench..

Who'd you rather see Eto'o, Kone, Long, Vellios or Gueye?

Exactly. This is a no-brainer for me. 2 years of him working with our younger strikers will also benefit them massively. Plus by signing a two year deal, if its not working out we'll still be able to recoup some money if we need to Lucas Neil him.

Just come back through Manc airport, he was not far behind me in the border control queue. Some Manc lad was harassing him for a selfie so I'm sure that will appear on twitter. He met up with two suits who were vaguely recognisable.

Don't know if it's been mentioned because be arsed reading this whole thread, but Eto'o is one of the top strikers of the last decade. This can only be good for helping lukaku's development.

....good for me. Yes it raises our profile, yes its good we can attract this type but more important is that he offers us something a little different. In a way he's a hybrid in that he has the mobility to be a lone striker and is also a sniffer. Hope he still has hunger to play, hope he's a good pro and influence. If so, he could be cheap at the price.

Love the fact that certain people were moaning that we needed to sign players and the board and RM were letting us down if we didn't and now we are set to sign arguably the biggest name to play for us in over 20 years and they are saying the board and RM are mad to waste money/take such a risk.

Only at Everton. Guess you can please some of the people some of the time and the negative chumps never.

Bilyaletdinov definitely a bigger name mate, aside from being very wrong I don't see why you're placing sure emphasis on name length.
