I`m not so sure now, having just listened to that interview.

If the club were giving him the boot at the weekend, surely they`d keep him off the radio and stop him from playing the wounded soldier.

Everything that the club says or does, or doesn't say or do now will be interpreted one way or the other.

I'd imagine if he was told to keep out of the media he would take that as a fairly concrete indication that he is about to get the boot. He would probably leak that and the club would have to contemplate a reaction or otherwise and then the whole cycle begins over.

I'd let him say whatever he likes - it doesn't paint him in a good light at all - the club can keep out of the media circus on this unless and until they decide to part company with him.

I listened to it from about 11 and he never once mentioned Sam would be on it. Sam must of phoned him
i.e. only nut jobs* call up Talksport.

* I obviously meant people with impaired reasoning skills, here. I apologise for any offence given to anyone other than Big Scam.

He is desperate to control the narrative. If he was confident in his job , he wouldn’t care what the fans think he never has before. The fans are inconsequential to him.
His only way to lobby Moshiri , following a clearly vague and non- commital ‘clarification’ meeting is through his chums in the media.
He’s already swinging in the breeze.

Completely this.

Which tells you all you need to know.

Dont worry lads, 6 days, he will be gone
I concur. I have the 14th ringed on my diary on my desk.

I hope Moshiri will have his steel toe cap brogues back from the cobblers for the unceremonious hoofing of Big Scam out of the Finch Farm gates. I see it being like a scene from the Beano.

My view is he is gone and will be replaced by Silva. Which does us no favours whatsoever as I believe he will be sacked before the end of the season.

Did he call in to Talksport or was it just their usual baiting with washed up know-nothings championing him and telling Everton supporters to get back in their box?

If he did call, what did he say?

Wish him all speed on the express exit train (to Baggies). BTW Burnley being thrashed at W/E shows that Dyche is not for us, he is in the same mould as Allardyce.
