I reckon the imbalance of the team, poor managerial decisions, bad luck with injuries, and a neglect by Walsh and Koeman in addressing key areas has turned us in to a poor side in terms of the 11 we keep putting out. But I also think we have some decent players who would perform better with a more balanced side and positive tactics.

I admit I worded it incorrectly, you hit the nail on the head with the word imbalanced as that what this squad is. We were in (and still are to an extent) a bad place when Sam took over, RK couldn't cure it, DU couldn't either and Sam comes in and we get a bounce then goes pear-shaped again. We will never know but I doubt things would have been much better for Silva or the likes had they come in instead of Sam at that time but some posters may you want to believe that the garden would have been rosey had someone other than 'corrupt' Sam at that time.

I was happy when Sam got the gig but yes things are going south at present, if he is gone in the summer so be it, but you see the deals done in January past, nothing serious gets achieved apart from the big squads doing abit so summer and free tranfers are our aims, with who in charge I don't know, but RK & Walsh must take most of the blame for our current problems and walsh should be gone sooner rather than later for his part in that mess.

One final note, about a handful of posters here are 100% anti sam and that is their right, their posts can become tedious after awhile but the whole 'corrupt' line etc that they constantly bandy around is getting old at this point. There must be some folk here inline for sainthoods when they finally hit the pearly gates because I know I am not one of them and thankfully I am 41 with two kids but they will never know what I did when I was in my teens or twenties and I am sure there are people here not proud of things in their past (even Sam maybe who knows) but you get on with it and move on, Sam is only a short term manager of a club that we love, he's not coming around friday evening to look after your sprogs when you and the missus head to Benidorm for a week.

13 games left to play i.e a possible 39 points available.
Only 2 out of the 13 games are against the so called top 6.
7 Points ahead of the relegation zone.
5 Points behind 7th place i.e where we finished last year.
Only 3 wins required to hit the magical 40 points.
Just spent another 50 million pound on a couple of quality players.
Getting paid millions to Manage Everton.

And what does Allardyce say:

"We’ve got to write this season off as quick as we can by staying in the Premier League and then sorting out for the start of next season".

An absolute disgrace and should have been sacked an hour later and does not deserve to be the Manager of Everton especially taking everything else into account such as 6 points out of a possible 24 and making an embarrassment out of the club with his 8 man defence and 3 attackers against a team that he himself said were weak in defence.

Cannot be gone soon enough for me. Every day he is here now is a day too long and more damage done.

he can actually win back half the fans if he does the following.

1, admit mistake of loaning out lookman after another game winning performance in Germany.
2. drop schneiderlin and acknowledge his effort can be improve.
3. do not park the bus against bottom half team again, home and away
4. drop martina
5. quickly identify our best striker and build a game plan specifically to feed him with chances. That's Tosun.
6. reduce hoof
7. keep the same lineup after a win. Or at least tweak it at a minimum level.

but I can't see it happening.

Beating Liverpool would do a lot but you can expect another humiliation where that game is concerned.

Seens the comments abar lookman frpm the echo

Asked if lookman would have made a difference and he just went no bolasie cost 30 and Walcott 20 and they have more experience so no

Then something about players not listening to his instructions

The more I read what I says the more I want to deflate him across the Mersey

Fat fcking pig I hate him me

Fat Sam does seem to lack finesse at times and the Lookman comment is bizarre and contradicts his earlier comment that he, Sam,
hoped that Lookman would improve at Leipzig. The Tosun comment was also bizarre and made no sense. Sam has no more idea of his top eleven than me. Why no left-back but he gets Mangala and the next week Funes Mori plays his first game !!

Lookman scoring a winner and Del Boy having a top game against Chelski adds to the sinking feeling. Sandro is odds-on for a hat-rick against Madrid or Barca..

Sam has to win games but also he has to create optimism if he is going to get the job. The Arsenal game was his tipping point; from now on he has to win and with a settled team preferably by playing a young player i.e., Benny, Vlasic or Davies regularly.

Final point; Compare Doucare's game for Watford against Chelski against anything that Morgan's done in a year! Our midfield is pants does Sam not see the lack of edge and creativity?

As much as I dislike Sam's management style, even the current manager of the Netherlands could do nothing with this squad. In fact, he took this squad into the bottom three.

Our players, by and large, are rubbish.

That's not their fault and I'll still get behind them, but the fact is that very few of our players would even get onto the bench at the RS.
