Hiddick/Rodgers are not the managers we need long term, would they have come here?, would they take an 18 month contract?

Our ambitions are beyond those two.

I dont think an 18 month contract would have been offered to them.

You cant argue about the clubs ambitions go beyond Hiddink in the same sentence as defending the appointment of Allardyce.
 
Did you catch the quote where he said this job was a “Come and rescue us” type , but he’d like to stay on -
so it was as stupid and panicky as we all knew and thought
Moshiri and Co just went to him and said rescue us,
and he said ok - “£5 million please”

Not good enough, that's why no other club in the league employs them.

We needed a stop gap, that's what Allardyce is, we stay up, job done.

Rodgers would get in at probably all bar 5 clubs in the league, maybe 6.

Hiddink would get in any club if he wanted the gig.

Are you seriously saying Allardyce is the only manager that could have ensured this team stayed in the division?
